MNYL participates in the Southeastern Pennsylvania Youth Lacrosse Association (SEPYLA), and the rule is that to play for MNYL travel teams players must reside within the Marple Newtown School District boundaries. This has nothing to do with the township you live in, but which school district in which your son resides.

Here is a breakdown of what programs residents and non-residents can/can't participate in Marple Newtown Youth Lacrosse:

  • those indivisuals that live in the Marple Newtown School District ARE eligible for all programs offered by MNYL.
  • those individuals that do not live in the Marple Newtown School District ARE eligible for the K Clinic and 1st/2nd grade Intramural program.
  • those individuals that don't live in the Marple Newtown School District ARE NOT eligible to play for any of the travel teams which include the 3rd/4th grade "C", 5th/6th grade "B" and 7th/8th grade "A" travel programs.
