Important:  According to the Southeastern Pennsylavania Lacrosse Association (SEPYLA) rules, only boys who reside in the Marple Newtown School District are eligible to play for MNYL travel teams. Those boys that do not reside in the MN school district are still eligble to participate in the Kindergarten Clinic and 1st/2nd grade programs.

Kindergarten Clinic (Little Tigers): The primary purpose of the Little Tigers is to introduce the sport of lacrosse to our youngest boys and teach them the basic skills of lacrosse in a safe, fun and non-competitive atmosphere. Boys will meet one day during the week and again on Sunday mornings starting in late March.

1st & 2nd Grade Intramural: This is a great introduction to field lacrosse with a complete focus on having fun. Players will be introduced to catching, throwing, scooping and shooting.  Boys will meet one night during the week when the spring weather arrives and participate in practices where players rotate around skill stations. They will have clinics/games on Sunday mornings and also compete in a "playday" with other local lacrosse clubs. The boys will be playing  6 vs. 6 with goalies on smaller than regulation sized fields.

3rd/4th Grade "C" Travel:  SEPYLA calls this "C" division.  We usually field two teams at this level (depending on registration numbers) that enter into a SEPYLA governed game schedule.  Teams will practice at two times per week starting in early March.  Boys will play 10 v. 10 on regulation sized fields for a real lacrosse experience.  Teams teams will play against other youth lacrosse programs in our area.  Games are usually played on Sundays.

5th & 6th Grade "B" Travel:  SEPYLA calls this the "B" division.  We usually field two teams (depending on registration numbers) at this level that enter into a SEPYLA governed game schedule.   Teams will practice at least two times per week starting in late February or early March.  The teams will play against some of the best youth lacrosse programs in Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey.  Boys trying out for these teams should be committed to playing lacrosse as their primary Spring sport.  A player's attitude, attendance and effort at practice and games can affect playing time.  Additionally, our travel coaches reserve the right to play who they view as their strongest players during critical stages of the game.  Games are usually played on Sundays.

7th & 8th Grade "A" Travel: SEPYLA calls this the "A" division.  We usually field two teams at this level (depending on registration numbers) that enter into a SEPYLA governed game schedule. Games are usually played on Saturdays.

DISCLAIMER:  Completing the registration process does not guarantee your child a position on a team.  MNYL reserves the right to drop or reconfigure teams if we do not have enough players or coaches.
